Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest savannah national park, located in western Uganda between Kampala and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Covering approximately 370 square kilometers, the park is famous for its beautiful rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and scenic lakes.
Despite its size, Lake Mburo offers excellent wildlife viewing, boat safaris, horseback riding, and walking safaris — making it one of the most unique safari destinations in Uganda.
Lake Mburo National Park is the perfect stopover for travelers heading to Bwindi for gorilla trekking. It offers a relaxed safari atmosphere and activities not available in many other Ugandan parks.
